1 (15-ounce) can green peas, drained

1 small jar pimentos, drained

1 small onion, chopped fine

1 (8-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained & cut in chunks

1 can cream of mushroom soup

 

 

Mix all ingredients & put in 9x9-inch baking dish.

 

 

TOP LAYER

 

 

1 cup crushed buttery crackers

1 cup grated cheese

1 stick butter, sliced

 

 

Mix crackers & cheese, put over vegetables & top with slices of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
