Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
“Talk about good!!”
1-1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract, divided
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon flour
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
*Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
*Combine cookie crumbs & butter; press into a 9-inch spring form pan.
*With mixer beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add condensed milk.
*Beat in eggs & 2 teaspoons vanilla.
*Toss chocolate chips & flour together & fold into cream cheese mixture.
*Pour into spring form pan.
*Bake for 1 hour or until set. SEE NEXT LINE.
*Combine sour cream, sugar & 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, mix well & spread over top of
cheesecake about 15 minutes before baking is complete.
NOTE: I always put a pan of water on bottom shelf of oven when baking a cheesecake.
